This gorgeous couple is Noela and Zorro, my 8 year old daughter and her faithful pony. Noela has always loved horses, and I've led her on my horse and let her ride up with me from the time she was big enough to sit in the saddle. She became tired of that last fall(2002) and decided she needed her own pony. We were unable to make her dream come true then, but the end of this summer(2003), with the help of 2 great people I met online, we were able to fulfill that dream! When James & Lisa found out we were looking for a pony they wrote and asked if we were still interested in Zorro(we had talked the beginning of the summer) and of course we were! ~VBG~ and that weekend, Sunday to be exact, we took Noela up to meet him. She fell in love at first sight! And he seemed to like her also. So we loaded him up and brought him home. Today it's Sep 3, 03 and hes been here only 1 1/2 weeks but the place wouldn't be the same without him!
Zorro is a Welsh pony, abt 12 hands and adores attention! He likes to stand with his head over the stall wall waiting for him mom(Noela) to come home from school and give him a carrot or pepperment candy. She rubs and loves on him a bit then waits very impatiently for the coolness of evening so they can have a ride. Only 2 days have passed since he came to us without her riding him, and that was weather related:O) During the day Noela will go out to the lot when he's out and they play follow the leader. He'll follow her around like a puppy! It brings tears to my eyes when I see there 2 beautiful heads bent close together!
